Managers are required to motivate staff, keep order and set standards. They coordinate people, money, projects, and are often the conduit between workers and senior management. This module has been developed to provide learners with an increased understanding of the key competencies required for the role of the manager. On completion, learners will appreciate the difference between management and leadership and recognise the different stages of team development.
