Coaching in the Workplace

There is a range of documentary evidence to show that workplace coaching is one of the most effective way of developing employees. This course includes the theory and ample opportunity to practice coaching in a safe environment. The aim is to provide delegates with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a competent workplace coach, through theory, interactive exercises and guided practice.

What you will learn:

  • Understand the differences between training, instruction and coaching
  • Understand the role and responsibilities of the workplace coach
  • Be able to demonstrate the essential skills of questioning and listening
  • Be able to conduct coaching in the workplace 

This a half day course, but further practice and study is encouraged


Minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 delegates


There are no specific pre-requisites however, this course is designed for people in a supervisory/management position or in preparation for a future supervisory/management position
