COURSE DETAIL
Overview
Asbestos Awareness training would benefit anyone who through their normal work activities could be exposed to materials containing asbestos in the workplace. Particularly those working in the refurbishment, construction and maintenance industries.
Anyone who through their normal work activities could be exposed to materials containing asbestos in the workplace and who already holds a UKATA Certificate in Asbestos Awareness and needs to refresh or re-certify their knowledge as required by the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
The course is designed especially for UKATA certified members and will take into account delegate experience and skills whilst building upon knowledge gained from previously attending the full training course
Duration: Extended tool-box talk (approximately 1-2 hours).
Assessment: Delegates must complete a multiple-choice test.
Certification: On successful completion of this course each delegate will receive a UKATA certificate valid for one year.
Please note that certificates are valid for one year, in line with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
